「凸頂柑」（常稱為「デコポン」，中文也常譯為「不知火」或「凸頂柑」）確實是熊本縣果實農業協同組合連合會（JA熊本果實連）的註冊商標。雖然它的品種學名是「不知火」（由清見橘與椪柑交配而成），但只有符合特定糖度（13度以上）與酸度（1.0度以下）等高標準，且由該協會或授權果農生產的「不知火」，才能冠上「凸頂柑（デコポン）」這個註冊商標名稱銷售。
