He suggested in a Fox News interview that President Donald Trump and other Republicans haven’t backed the incumbent, whom Fetterman called “reasonable,” as much as they can. Cornyn is competing against state Attorney General Ken Paxton, who has been involved in several scandals, for the Senate Republican nomination.
“That would be money in the bank, but now – I don’t know why, politically, I’m not sure why the Republicans and the president wouldn’t sit on that and just lock down Texas,” Fetterman said.

Raffensperger scored a statistical tie against Ossoff in the polling, and other potential rivals, including Kelly Loeffler, who previously ran against Raphael Warnock and lost despite Trump's backing, fell outside of the margin of error, which Cygnal identified as plus or minus 3.4 percent.
